SJUT COUNCIL MEETS

SJUT Council and Senate met and approved the advancment of the Institute of Development Studies, the Institute of Communication Skills, and the Centre for Informaiton & Communications Technology. Currently overseen by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academics pior to becomming independent units.

SJUT Council is lookinga ways of building the much needed new hostels and finding accommodations for the up comming academic year.
Also underway, the setting up of "Tanzania Friends of SJUT", starting with former students education on the campus of SJUT when it was home to the former Alliance & Mazengo Secondary schools.
